Rental trucks Platform Terms, Conditions & Privacy Principles

At Beters.org, we are committed to operating our rental truck platform with integrity, transparency, compassion, and respect for every member of our community. These Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Principles are designed to protect rental truck owners, renters, and the public while encouraging responsible participation and ethical conduct.

By proceeding with registration, you acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to the following provisions.

Registration & Community Participation:

Registration on our rental truck platform is provided free of charge to all qualified vehicle owners.

To support platform administration, marketing, safety improvements, and community outreach, members who choose to advertise their rental trucks are subject to a $25 monthly promotional fee. A portion of this amount is dedicated to charity organisations, reflecting our commitment to social responsibility.

Insurance notification:

All rental truck owners are required to inform their insurance provider of their rental activity and obtain written confirmation of valid rental truck coverage prior to listing, or put condition of rent with driver.

Members may invite friends and family to provide supportive reviews of their rental truck listings to enhance visibility and trust. Independent promotion of rental truck services is also permitted.

Payments & Financial Responsibility:

All rental truck payments are conducted directly between rental truck owners and renters.

Accepted methods of payment may include cash, credit cards, and electronic transfers based on mutual agreement.

For transparency and operational compliance, rental truck owners are encouraged to register their rental truck business where required by law, and obtain legal authorisation to process credit card payments independently.

The platform does not collect, process, or mediate rental payments between owners and renters.

Collection of Personal Information:

We collect only the information necessary to operate responsibly and deliver trusted rental truck services. This includes:

Information voluntarily provided by users

Information automatically generated through use of the rental truck platform

Information received from authorised third-party sources

All information is handled with care, discretion, and respect for human dignity.

Purpose of Information Use:

Personal information may be used solely for the following humanitarian and operational purposes:

Account creation and management

Rental truck bookings and service delivery

Communication between rental truck owners and renters

Customer support and safety monitoring

Platform improvement and performance analysis

Fraud prevention and identity verification

Safety & Legal Responsibility:

To protect all members of the rental truck community:

Members must never display personal legal documents publicly.

Rental truck owners must verify renter identification prior to vehicle handover

Rental truck owners must confirm legal driving authorisation under applicable national laws

These measures are essential to maintaining public safety, legal compliance, and mutual trust.

Age Eligibility (Rental trucks):

Rental truck services are strictly reserved for individuals 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly engage with or collect information from minors.

Respectful Use & Prohibited Activities:

To preserve a safe, inclusive, and lawful environment, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

Political, religious, or sexual promotion or activity

Listing of government or public vehicles

Representation of vehicles without legal authorisation

Listing of another person’s vehicle without documented ownership rights

Public display of legal or identity documents

Violations of these rules may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

We employ appropriate technical, organisational, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure. While no digital system can guarantee absolute security, protecting your privacy is a fundamental responsibility we take seriously.
